Zusammenfassung

PAQ, Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant Staff to lead the period-end close, supervise daily accounting tasks, and support audits. The role focuses on accurate journal entries, GL reconciliations, and adherence to GAAP within a fast-paced retail environment.

The position reports to the Accounting Manager and is based on-site at the Lodi location, offering full-time hours and opportunities for process improvement and tax compliance support.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Over five years of accounting experience.
• CPA or working towards CPA is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and assist in the period-end financial close process.
• Oversee and review the accounting team's daily/weekly tasks.
• Supervise month-end inventory reconciliation and gross profit reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting entries and data.
• Enhance accounting processes and procedures.
• Perform P&L and Balance Sheet fluctuation analysis.
• Prepare and file Sales and Use taxes.
• Support audits and interact with external auditors.
