GHJ, headquartered in Los Angeles, is seeking a Senior Accountant to own key GL workstreams and independently drive parts of the close process. You will partner across the firm to ensure accurate financial reporting and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes ownership, technology adoption, and a modernizing finance function, with collaboration across offshore teams and cross-functional partners.

Formación

• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger.
• Experience owning full-cycle accounting across multiple GL areas.
• Experience partnering with offshore accounting teams.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Own assigned areas of the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations, cash matching, and reconcile accounts.
• Handle accounts receivable, client billing, collections, and cash application.
• Support accounts payable activities including vendor invoices and payments.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls.
• Participate in system implementations and finance transformation projects.
• Review work prepared by offshore team members and provide coaching.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency while maintaining accuracy.
