Job summary

Landing Point, a growing private equity investment firm, seeks a Senior Accountant in Boston to support partnership accounting operations within the fund business line.

You will prepare financial statements, capital call/distribution packages, and related reporting while maintaining ledgers, bank reconciliations, and schedules. The role involves collaboration with Treasury and year-end audits, plus automation initiatives to improve processes.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in a fund accounting role, private equity or financial services experience required
• Partnership or public accounting background preferred
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Allvue fund accounting software preferable
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Solid working knowledge of GAAP accounting

Responsibilities

• Prepare various tax reporting deliverables and documentation
• Leverage Excel, accounting software, and CRM portal to streamline and automate processes
• Collaborate with Treasury on cash management and banking activities
• Coordinate and support the year-end audit process for coinvestment and GP entities
• Provide support for automation and process improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business functions

Compensation

Salary: $115,000 – $125,000, Plus Bonus
