Job summary

Atrium is recruiting for a Consolidations Accountant to own and manage the consolidations function for a global organization based in Atlanta, GA. This role will oversee the consolidated month-end close and financial reporting processes for the business, requiring strong technical accounting knowledge, FX experience, and GAAP reporting.

You will work with multiple currencies, prepare eliminations, support FX revaluations, and ensure balance sheet integrity during close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Consolidation accounting experience is required.
• FX experience is required.
• CPA or CPA-eligible candidates are preferred.
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus, but corporate experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes on multiple currencies, and prepare intercompany elimination entries in addition to unrealized gains on foreign currency adjustments (CTA).
• Assist with FX revaluation and impacts to the balance sheet.
• Support the month-end close process in accordance with GAAP accounting protocol.
• Prepare and review journal entries related to consolidations and close activities.
• Perform account analyses and support balance sheet integrity during close including variance analysis.
• Participate in process improvement initiative.
• Utilize consolidation systems (e.g., HFM preferred) to support reporting and close.
