Job summary

Gills Point S Tire & Auto in Portland, OR seeks a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple entities. You will partner with the Controller, FP&A and Operations to manage monthly closes, maintain balance sheet integrity, support audits, and provide insights to drive strategic growth.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years in public accounting, audit, or corporate accounting, strong US GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, and experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2+ years of public accounting, audit, or corporate accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and US GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation per US GAAP.
• Perform account and variance analysis to identify trends.
• Partner with cross-functional departments to resolve accounting questions.
• Support internal and external audits and compliance.
