Job summary

Simply Beautiful Smiles is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. You will prepare financial statements, ensure GAAP compliance, and support audits, budgets, and regulatory reporting across multiple sites.

The role requires 5 years of accounting experience with strong analytics and reporting skills, plus proficiency in Netsuite and AvidXchange. A CPA/CMA is preferred, with excellent communication and MS Excel expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• 5 years experience in accounting with GAAP knowledge.
• 3+ years revenue recognition in multi-site healthcare environments.
• CPA or CMA license preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office, Netsuite, and AP systems (AvidXchange).
• Excellent communication and number skills; meet deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills: Vlookup, Pivot, and Hlookup.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare error-free financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Analyze financial reports and summarize financial status.
• Maintain account balances, bank statements, and reconciliations.
• Manage fixed assets, intangibles, prepaid, and liabilities schedules.
• Assist with audits and taxes.
• Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulators, and stockholders.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with management to improve financial procedures.
• Provide ad-hoc analyses and variances.
