LHH is looking to fill a Senior Accountant with a company in the Dallas area that recently completed a large acquisition and went through some exciting growth. This organization has a great culture that ensures all employees are engaged and part of their growth journey.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of full cycle accounting experience. In this role you will analyze financial statements and balance sheet accounts, prepare GL account reconciliations, and perform monthly close and financial reporting.

This is a hybrid position on a permanent basis and offers great flexibility. This role pays 90K-95K+bonus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
  • Research and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Responsible for development of financial statements and reports.
  • Perform assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes.
  • Perform fluctuation/variance analysis.
  • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions.
  • Compile data and prepare a variety of reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents that project the organization's financial position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
  • Ideally 3-5 years of professional accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required including advanced Excel experience.
