Responsibilities

As a Permanent Senior Accountant, your daily tasks will include but are not limited to

• Overseeing and managing the general ledger.
• Conducting monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Analyzing financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention.
• Reviewing and improving financial statements and reports.
• Ensuring all financial operations comply with federal and state laws.
• Managing the full cycle of accounting activities for the company.
• Assisting in the preparation and coordination of the audit process.
• Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, with a deep understanding of account reconciliation, general ledger, and financial statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel and a solid understanding of accounting software principles.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with different levels of management.
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
• Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
