Job summary

The University of Louisville is seeking an Accountant III in Belknap Campus to support University Housing and the Resident Experience. You will perform financial analysis, manage allocations, accruals, and month-end closings, and prepare reports for Foundation stakeholders.

This full-time exempt role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and 4 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and Workday experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with four years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Grade 7 (Salaried).
• Experience with financial analysis, accounting operations, and GAAP or university reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial information and reconcile accounts.
• Process expense allocations, accruals, and depreciation.
• Maintain fixed asset records and perform month-end closings.
• Support external financial reporting to Foundation and stakeholders.
