Job summary

The University of Louisville is seeking an Accountant III for the Division of Student Affairs, Housing and Resident Experience. This full-time role performs financial analysis, reports, and accounting operations for Foundation-owned properties, coordinating with stakeholders and lenders.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, journal entries, allocations, monthly accruals, depreciation, and reconciliations. Strong Excel and Workday skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and four years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Workday HRIS/Finance and general ledger accounting is preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, coordinates, and documents financial analysis projects and reports.
• Provides forecasts and trend analysis for finance and business conditions; presents findings to senior management.
• Maintains ledgers and reconciliations, and analyzes month-end closings and budgets.
• Performs month-end closings, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial projections.
• Assists with external financial reports to Foundation and leadership.
