Job summary

CFS in Wadsworth, OH is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations, assist with monthly close, audits, and financial analysis in a fast-paced environment.

With 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, you will work closely with the Corporate Controller on financial reporting and control improvements, including ERP systems and Excel analyses. This is a hands-on role with broad responsibilities and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
• ERP system experience with NetSuite or Great Plains and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support monthly close processes in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare and post journal entries while reconciling key accounts (cash, payroll, accruals).
• Serve as liaison for external audits and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and partner cross-functionally on financial analysis and reporting.
