Spectrum Search Group in Irving, TX is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing organization. This role focuses on month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations, offering career growth and a balance between work and life.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in accounting, a bachelor's in Accounting, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to guide staff. The position features hybrid work: four days in office, one day remote, with a compensation range of $85K-$105K plus profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong month-end close, GL, and reconciliation experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIF).
• Independent problem solver who can take ownership.
• Experience reviewing others’ work or ready to take that next step.

Responsabilités

• Own key pieces of the month-end close process
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Review general ledger activity and financial reports
• Identify discrepancies and prepare correcting entries
• Review work and provide guidance to accounting staff
• Partner across the organization to resolve accounting issues
