Ascenso Tires North America seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join our North American headquarters in Hudson, Ohio. The role oversees day-to-day accounting, including banking, fixed assets, GL activity, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting while guiding the Accounting Department and collaborating with global colleagues and auditors.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, with ERP and Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3–5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, terminology, and procedures.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions including banking, fixed assets, GL activity, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting and audit support.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable postings and oversee bank accounts; reconcile daily banking and monthly statements.
• Prepare and maintain General Ledger entries, journal entries and monthly accruals; investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing, cost and revenue reports, balance sheets and financial statements; support annual audit.
