Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional accounting experience in journal entries, account reconciliations and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience.
• Experience with inventory and fixed-asset accounting.
• Experience preparing audit schedules and providing audit support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accounting structures and processes.
• Recommend and implement improvements to optimize month-end and year-end closing, account analysis, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and distribute financial statements; translate account data and findings for management.
• Assist clients with ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects.
• Establish and maintain accurate accounting and financial records.
• Create and review journal entries that are compliant with company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare financial statements, projections, cost-benefit analyses, or other reports and verify accuracy.
• Reconcile accounts or support reconciliations performed by others.
• Document methods and processes related to account security.
• Participate in cross-departmental teams to represent accounting functions.
