Job summary

RiVidium Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support accurate accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls in a federal government contracting environment. You will manage the general ledger, month-end close, and project-level accounting, and help migrate from QuickBooks Desktop to Unanet ERP.

The role collaborates with the CFO and project managers, requires at least five years of experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills for large data sets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; at least five years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with project-based accounting, labor distribution, and contract accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and complex formulas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers; post journal entries and reconciliations.
• Execute month-end and year-end close with supporting workpapers and financial statements per U.S. GAAP.
• Support AP/AR, payroll-related accounting, and project-level accounting.
• Coordinate labor distribution, direct/indirect costs, and revenue recognition by contract terms.
• Assist with audits, FAR/DCAA compliance, and internal control improvements.
• Collaborate with CFO, finance, and project managers to ensure accurate timesheets and invoicing.
• Document SOPs and enhance duties segregation and approval controls.
• Support Unanet ERP implementation and post-go-live stabilization; migrate from QuickBooks Desktop.
