Rain is seeking an accounting professional to join the Accounting team and help build a scalable financial foundation for a global digital-access payments platform. You will work across functions to improve reporting, automate processes, and support growth across multiple entities and international subsidiaries.

The role emphasizes accuracy, controls, and transparency, with opportunities to influence the roadmap and operate in a remote-first, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years accounting or finance experience.
• Proven ability to improve processes, drive automation, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience working with large datasets and complex reconciliations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a remote-first, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements and automation by partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to enhance reporting quality.
• Execute month-end close activities, including variance analysis and reconciliations across BS and IS accounts.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of the digital asset ledger across multiple entities.
• Build scalable reconciliation frameworks that support the month-end close, external audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop repeatable processes and checklists to support growth and operational scale.
• Ensure intercompany accounts are properly reconciled and in consolidation.
• Perform revaluation and translation for international subsidiaries on a monthly basis.
• Analyze revenue contracts to ensure they are appropriately accounted for under ASC 606.
• Ensure invoices are accurate and billed to customers in a timely manner.
• Provide support for special projects, system implementations, and acquisition integrations.
