Job summary

Barry Callebaut invites applications for an accounting professional in Chicago, operating in a hybrid setup. The role focuses on reconciling balances, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close to produce timely financial statements.

The candidate should have a Bachelor or Master in Accounting, 3–5 years experience in accounting and financial reporting, SAP familiarity, and CPA is a plus. Multinational manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting or similar.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, month end close.
• Public accounting background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute and review day-to-day accounting and month-end closing activities (inventory, leases, rebates, manual postings).
• Prepare and submit financial statements and ensure accuracy of reporting.
• Collaborate across FP&A, Treasury, Tax, AP, and other departments; manage audits and ad hoc projects.
