Role & Responsibilities
Role: Senior Accountant II
Location: Remote, India
Working Shift: Night Shift - 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM IST
You will:
- Identify and research accounting issues in compliance with US GAAP.
- Oversee the Cash Management module in ERP, ensuring seamless reconciliation of bank statements and books.
- Manage the Fixed Assets module in ERP and maintain accurate records.
- Perform period end close procedures including, but not limited to, accrued expenses, prepaids, leases, fixed assets, allocations, capitalizations, accounts receivables, intangible assets, and GL accounts analysis.
- Perform in-depth GL account analysis, deliver flux report for operating expense and balance sheet.
- Ensure compliance by assisting with state registration renewals, sales/use taxes, and other tax filings.
- Manage international subsidiary management account booking and coordinate with local filings.
- Support monthly financial reporting, annual audits, and perform advanced financial analyses.
- Collaborate directly with the Controller on high-priority ad hoc projects.
You Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- 8-10 years of experience in accounting for a US company.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Relevant experience working with large data sets.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in pressure situations.
- Prior experience with Oracle Fusion preferred.
