Job summary

Prudential Center and the New Jersey Devils are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our organization. The role focuses on maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, preparing financial analyses, completing account reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end closes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

The ideal candidate is an independent thinker who can help develop efficient accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) or similar accounting software preferred.
• Knowledge of Concur or similar web-based document platforms preferred.
• Must be energetic, team-oriented, accurate, and deadline-driven.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly journal entries for multiple entities.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial statements and account fluctuations.
• Coordinate with revenue teams on revenue recognition and related accounts.
• Assist with audits and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
