Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA/MBA preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close.
• Experience leading audit requests and SOX compliance; public accounting a plus.
• Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MS Dynamics).
• Experience mentoring staff and guiding close procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own and prepare complex GL entries and lead month-end close.
• Reconcile cash, payroll, liabilities, and balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure bank and credit card reconciliations; investigate variances.
• Lead process improvements and automation in GL and close.
• Coordinate audits with external auditors; maintain SOX controls.
• Provide accounting guidance to other departments and document policies.
