Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a finance professional to join the Mooresville headquarters finance team. The role focuses on capturing moderately complex financial activities, applying GAAP, and ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

You will work with auditors and cross-functional teams to maintain internal controls and support regulatory reporting, while mentoring junior staff and driving process improvements within the finance organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4 years in accounting, tax, finance or related field
• Advanced skills in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Access)

Responsibilities

• Executes financial activities timely using GAAP and system knowledge
• Prepares and evaluates reports for accuracy of financial reporting
• Performs analyses and reconciliations to support monthly, quarterly and annual closes
• Reviews reports prepared by others to ensure accuracy of financial reporting
• Mentors and trains accountants in moderately complex skills as needed
