Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks an experienced Accountant to join our manufacturing and consumer products client in California. The role focuses on robust monthly close activities, fixed asset and lease accounting (ASC 842), and producing accurate financial reports to support business decisions.

You will drive process improvements, coordinate audits, and partner with leaders across locations to optimize ERP usage and accounting operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years progressive accounting experience
• Experience within manufacturing, consumer products, food & beverage, or related industries preferred
• Strong fixed asset accounting and/or lease accounting experience
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills
• Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Manage fixed asset accounting and lease accounting activities (ASC 842)
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Coordinate audit requests and maintain effective internal controls
• Drive process improvements and accounting efficiencies
• Partner with business leaders on operational and financial initiatives
• Support ERP optimization and accounting system enhancements
• Assist with multi-location accounting operations and reporting
