Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead complex accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and reporting quality at the corporate level. You will partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen internal controls and provide actionable insights to leadership for strategic decisions.

The role requires 6–8 years of accounting experience, a CPA license, and strong GAAP and financial analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• 6–8 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• CPA licensure required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and reviews complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy, timeliness and policy compliance.
• Acts as technical expert on GAAP interpretations and internal policies for complex issues.
• Coordinates month-end and year-end close processes across units and projects.
• Develops process improvements and automation to enhance accuracy and controls.
• Provides financial insights, variance analysis and recommendations to leadership for strategic decisions.
• Supports audits by preparing analyses and responses to inquiries.
• Mentors staff, delivering training and review to ensure quality.
