Job summary

Golden State Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to own core accounting activities, from journal entries to trial balance, ensuring GAAP and League compliance. You will drive month-end closes, reconcile balances, and prepare audit documentation.

The role requires strong US GAAP knowledge, ERP expertise (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP), and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. On-site position in San Francisco, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• 3+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP (ASC 606, ASC 842) and League reporting.
• Proficient in Tier 1 ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and complete month-end close for assigned entities.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze P&L variances.
• Prepare audit-facing schedules and narratives for inquiries.
• Review contracts for accounting implications and draft memos.
• Record intercompany transactions and ensure proper elimination and settlement.
