Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies is seeking a Senior Accountant to contribute to the accounting and financial reporting function across a multi-entity manufacturing environment. You will lead complex general ledger activities, monthly close, account reconciliations, and cross-functional support with Finance leadership, FP&A, and plant management.

The role focuses on month-end close, GAAP-compliant reporting, audit schedules, and process improvements using the Infor ERP system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 4-7 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close for multiple entities and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Prepare audit schedules and support external auditors and tax providers.
• Maintain accounting policies and assist with system enhancements and process improvements.
• Support cross-functional teams including FP&A and plant management with timely financial information.
