Job summary

Astrophysics Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our headquarters in City of Industry, CA. You will oversee key accounting functions, close processes, and support audits while ensuring accurate financial information under US GAAP.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel and ERP proficiency, and excellent communication skills. This position offers a full-time schedule with standard business hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with ERP systems
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication
• International accounting exposure and IT knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.
• Record complex journal entries and assist with financial statements under US GAAP.
• Oversee AP, AR, and staff accountant activities for accuracy and compliance.
• Administer fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and internal controls.
• Maintain inventory standard costs and analyze variances with Operations.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and supporting schedules.
• Support audits and respond with required schedules and documents.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support special projects as directed by the Controller.
