Job summary

Driven Brands, based in North Carolina, seeks a Senior Accountant to manage vendor payments, member contracts, cash matching, journal entries, and month-end reporting under the Senior Manager of Accounting.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of GAAP. You will collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams to ensure timely, accurate close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• ERP data analysis experience (SalesForce and Oracle preferred) or similar systems.
• Proficient with Excel including pivot tables.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments timely.

Responsibilities

• Own GL accounts and ensure accuracy, GAAP compliance, and consistency.
• Ensure vendors are paid timely and maintain required documentation.
• Match cash activity, including member and vendor payments.
• Perform month-end/quarter-end close activities and prepare supporting schedules.
• Reconcile and maintain integrity of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Create/modify accounting entries and maintain workpapers per GAAP and policies.
• Document internal controls and complete close checklist.
• Collaborate with accounting team and other departments.
• Respond to internal customers’ requests from accounting, finance, and operations.
• Assist with member contracts and billing questions.
• Support ad-hoc projects as needed.
