Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) in Fort Worth seeks an experienced accountant to manage month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting for a division. You will analyze variances, prepare reports, and support audits with strong GAAP knowledge and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications include 5–8 years in accounting, an undergraduate degree in accounting, and excellent communication. CPA preferred. On-site role with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to reconcile complex accounts and prepare analyses

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close processes for assigned areas
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations with supporting documentation
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses and reports
• Identify variances and investigate root causes for management review
• Support internal/external audits and regulatory filings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
