Job summary

686 Apparel is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to provide comprehensive accounting support for our omni-channel CPG company. Based in Gardena, CA, you will handle month-end reconciliations, GAAP-compliant close, and collaboration with FP&A, AP and AR teams.

You’ll prepare journal entries, analyze financial statements, and contribute to audits and tax preparation. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting experience, a CPA or CPA candidate, and advanced Excel skills to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3–5 years of general accounting, auditing, or corporate finance experience.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and management reports.
• GL reporting and expense analysis.
• Complete daily DTC cash applications and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with internal control procedures.
• Support month-end and year-end close under US GAAP.
• Participate in audits and tax preparation.
• Oversee 1099 process.
• Liaise with AP, AR and FP&A.
• Leverage AI and automation to streamline processes.
