The role reviews staff work, performs variance analyses, maintains internal controls, forecasts cash flow, and ensures tax compliance. Reports to the Accounting Manager and CFO; requires strong Excel and ERP skills and on-site work.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting research.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (SAP or Microsoft Dynamics).
• Ability to work on-site in Adger, Alabama.

Responsabilidades

• Review journal entries and reconciliations prepared by staff.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and scale issues.
• Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of GL, bank, and balance sheet accounts.
• Conduct internal audits and variance analyses to identify trends.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting systems to prevent fraud.
• Forecast cash flow and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare U.S. GAAP financial statements for management and tax reporting.
• Coordinate audits and prepare schedules for external auditors.
• Assist with business tax filings and regulatory compliance.
