Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Several years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Experience with monthly closing is required.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• English proficiency; Japanese is a plus.
• CPA is a plus, but not required.
• FP&A exposure preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly accounting close and financial reporting
• Maintain accurate accounting records and reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare financial reports and provide business performance updates
• Monitor expenses, cash flow, and other key financial information
• Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers
• Assist with payroll, benefits, and 401(k) administration
• Support future audit preparation and improvements to accounting processes
• Provide weekly progress updates to management
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as needed
