Job summary

The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants seeks a skilled professional to perform accounting, audit and tax assignments under supervision. You will analyze financial information, prepare reports, and support engagements with various managers and partners.

Flexible overtime is required during peak seasons. Responsibilities include recording transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing tax returns, and assisting with financial statements.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam required, CPA preferred.
• Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles and income tax.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Record transactions in ledgers, prepare trial balances and simple financial statements using computer software.
• Reconcile accounts to control accounts.
• Prepare payroll tax, sales or other business tax and personal income tax returns.
• Prepare compiled, reviewed and audited financial statements.
• General bookkeeping and payroll responsibilities.
• Develop client relationships and supervise staff.
