Job summary

Hissho Sushi is seeking a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, maintain accurate financial records, and strengthen internal controls. This role focuses on fixed asset accounting and collaborates with Operations, IT, and Facilities to ensure proper capitalization under U.S.

GAAP. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of accounting experience, CPA or CPA candidate, and strong skills in Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• CPA or CPA candidate.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the fixed asset accounting process including additions, disposals, transfers, impairments and depreciation.
• Maintain fixed asset subledger and reconcile to General Ledger.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in line with U.S. GAAP.
• Support annual audits and SOX compliance activities.
