Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is seeking a Senior Accountant specializing in Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting to join our growing team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting, this role involves preparing SEC-compliant financial statements, assisting with audits, and developing a deep understanding of US GAAP and complex consolidations. The position requires collaboration in a fast-paced environment and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC standards.
• Complete consolidations of multiple entities and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
• Support quarterly and annual audits by providing documentation and technical accounting positions.
• Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure efficient processes and compliance.
• Participate in special projects related to financial reporting and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Active CPA or pursuing CPA preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably SEC reporting.
• Experience with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and consolidations.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $75,000-$90,000 based on experience.
