Job Summary

TheSenior Accountant, Financial Reporting plays a critical role in supporting the Company7s SEC reporting and technical accounting functions. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, this position is responsible for preparing supporting schedules, analyses, and disclosures that ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting. The role requires strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of SEC filings including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and earnings releases.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc internal reporting deliverables
  • Prepare supporting schedules, analyses, and tie-outs for external and internal reporting.
  • Help maintain reporting checklists, calendars, and documentation to ensure compliance with deadlines.
  • Conduct financial statement analyses and benchmarking to ensure completeness and accuracy of disclosures.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly close process through preparation of workpapers and analytical reviews.
  • Prepare and record cost allocations between departments and sales channels.
  • Provide requested documentation and analysis for external auditors and internal controls testing.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and SOX documentation.
  • Ensure reporting and accounting activities comply with GAAP and company policies.
  • Partner with the GL, revenue, FP&A, legal, and other teams to support reporting deliverables and special projects.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements within reporting and accounting.
Experience and Education
  • Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or related field, Master7s degree a plus
  • CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
  • 3-5+ years of experience in public accounting and/or a public company; Big 4 experience a plus
  • Exposure to SEC reporting processes strongly preferred
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Advanced Excel experience required
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to handle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across teams and with senior leadership
  • Demonstrated drive for continuous process improvement
