Job summary

Hyperion Solutions, a technology driven vertical transportation provider, seeks a Senior Accountant in Memphis, TN to join the finance team. You will manage month-end close, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, cash forecasting, and cost accounting while partnering with the Corporate Controller and GM.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 3–5+ years of related experience, and SAP experience; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3–5+ years of related experience.
• CPA preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Distribution or service industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing duties, including reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Handle GL, A/P, A/R, OPEX, bank reconciliations, and costing analyses.
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and annual budgets.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide information as needed.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Prioritize supplier accounts for payment and authorize bank ACH and wire payments.
• Analyze data on operating costs and recommend process improvements.
• Lead year-end inventory count support and ensure accuracy of cost accounting for margin calculation.
• Support risk management and credit control procedures; act as a business partner to GM.
