Job summary

Frontier Precision, Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant to join our corporate accounting team in Bismarck, ND. You will oversee daily AP/AR operations, perform bank reconciliations, analyze margins, and support month-end close with strong internal controls.

This role requires 3–5+ years of accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. You will mentor staff and provide financial insights to leadership to drive business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with AP/AR operations and reconciliations.
• Experience with cost analysis and margin reviews is a plus.
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of AP/AR team (3 employees).
• Provide guidance, training, and oversight to accounting staff.
• Oversee AR management: balances, aging, collections, payments, reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Calculate and verify sales commissions per company plans.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities.
• Perform COGS analysis and review margins and costs.
• Prepare reports for leadership to aid decision-making.
• Support with internal controls, audits, and compliance.
