Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; master’s degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of accounting experience; agricultural, multi-entity/intercompany and payroll experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel; experience with other farm accounting or ERP software is a plus.
• Strong command of GAAP with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• CPA license desired and QuickBooks Online certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounting for Soules Farms and related entities, including general ledger, AP/AR, and financial statements.
• Manage day-to-day transaction processing (bill payments, invoicing, deposits and withdrawals) with supporting docs.
• Reconcile cash, loan, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts; align financials with tax return with advisors.
• Process payroll and payroll tax payments; prepare year-end filings.
• Prepare budgets and budget-to-actual comparisons; present quarterly results to ownership.
