Job summary

A leading financial services firm in Morristown, NJ, is seeking a Senior Accountant for external reporting. This role involves preparing financial statements, collaborating on SEC filings, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in accounting/finance and 1-3 years of public accounting experience. CPA is a plus, excellent communication skills are essential. Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in public accounting or a publicly traded corporate accounting or financial reporting team.
• CPA a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy in external reporting.
• Oversee pension and lease accounting compliance and reporting.
• Assist in preparation and review of SEC filings.
