Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, with month-end close focus.
• Expertise in accounting software and ERP systems; strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly accounting activities and ensure timely balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare, analyze, and review complex general ledger reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies and respond to inquiries with insightful explanations.
• Analyze results to identify variances, trends, and make accrual/reserve estimates.
• Develop and publish custom reports using data visualization to enhance analysis.

Job Description Summary

Join our dynamic finance team as a Senior Accountant at Evergreen Holdings Corporation, where you'll be a key player in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, providing critical insights that drive strategic decision-making across our organization. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical financial processes, influence decision-making, and contribute to high-impact projects. Role & Responsibilities

• Lead monthly accounting activities, ensuring timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for month-end close.
• Prepare, analyze, and review complex general ledger account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies within the general ledger, providing insightful responses to inquiries.
• Analyze financial results to identify variances and trends, supporting critical estimates such as accruals and reserves.
• Develop and publish custom reports, utilizing data visualization software to enhance financial analysis.
• Drive ad hoc projects and reporting to support strategic finance department objectives.
• Design and maintain sophisticated financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Evaluate financial performance against annual plans and forecasts, providing strategic insights.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial operations.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives, contributing to organizational growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new software solutions with existing systems.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Support external audits
• Develop and maintain allocation models to ensure accurate distribution of costs across the organization structure.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in a dynamic organization with a focus on executing month-end close processes efficiently.
• Expertise in accounting software and ERP systems, with experience in import/export functions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of implementing innovative solutions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

Operates in a professional office environment, routinely using standard office equipment. Frequently required to sit, with occasional need to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch, or crawl. Ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. May occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
