Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting and monthly close processes for the wholesale fuels division.
• Prepare and review journal entries; ensure GAAP compliance and policy alignment.
• Analyze financial statements and variance reports to identify trends and risks.
• Collaborate with operations to understand drivers, maintain rebate accruals, and ensure correct cost allocations.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and bank covenant reporting.
