The company is looking to add a Senior Accountant on a contract to hire basis. The company is on a hybrid schedule and the person taking on this Senior Accountant opportunity would be handling the following duties:

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entry preparation.
• Assist with the month end close and monthly/quarterly account analysis.
• The Senior Accountant would also be handling inventory accounting and fixed asset duties.
• This candidate would be working closely with the accounting manager to streamline the month end close process.
• Assist with special projects and preparing supporting schedules for the external auditors for the annual audit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or finance is required.
• CPA or MBA is desired.
• Prior experience in public accounting is desired.
• 3-5+ years of month end close experience is required.
• Prior experience with inventory accounting or cost accounting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are desired.
