Job summary

CDK Global is seeking a Senior Accountant, Consolidations and Reporting in Chicago to support consolidated financial statements under US GAAP. You will collaborate with FP&A, tax, treasury, and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and policy application.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, process improvement, and cross-functional teamwork with a focus on timely close and compliance with CDK policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of public company accounting experience (SOX 404).
• Understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Advanced Excel and standard financial tools proficiency.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly consolidated financial statements, including footnotes and MD&A.
• Prepare reporting packages for private equity owners.
• Validate schedules and footnotes with business partners for accuracy and compliance.
• Support consolidation hierarchies and FCCS mappings for efficient close.
• Contribute to internal and external audit requests and data requests.
• Assist with top-side journal entries and special projects as needed.
• Support SOX compliance documentation and control testing.
