Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to achieve results.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with teammates and others, leading meetings and interacting with higher levels of management to present results and recommendations.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees monthly, quarterly and annual book close cycles, ensuring timely completion and escalation of issues.
• Performs accounting activities of increasing complexity accurately and efficiently.
• Creates complex financial statement schedules and audit support schedules; may review others' schedules.
• Researches and applies accounting policy to business issues that arise.
• Establishes internal control procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Understands data flows through financial systems to identify issues and address them.
• Continuously assesses value and efficiency of work, proposing improvements and collaborating on their implementation.
• Leads or participates in complex department projects and continuous improvement activities.
• Fosters teammate development through training or performance feedback.
