Enpro is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our regional finance team in Tempe. You will prepare journal entries, post reconciliations, and deliver monthly financial results while supporting cross-functional close processes.

You will lead SOX controls, coordinate internal and external audits, and identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows. The role requires strong Excel skills, a Bachelor's in accounting, and at least four years of experience in accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• At least four years of accounting experience, which may include a combination of public and corporate accounting.
• Computer skills, including intermediate proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close and variance analysis.
• Lead internal and external audit coordination to ensure a smooth audit.
• Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley and other internal controls for compliance.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and automate workflows.
• Provide monthly financial results with actionable feedback to operational leaders.
• Support ad hoc projects as needed.
