Job summary

Haga Kommer in Fargo, ND is seeking a Senior Accountant to own client relationships, advise on financials, and help build our growing Client Accounting Services practice.

You will partner with business owners to understand financial information, improve processes, and drive better decisions while maintaining close collaboration with the team. Hybrid flexibility is offered to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, public accounting, or controller-level experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, or similar accounting software.
• Ability to manage multiple client priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients.
• Ability to identify accounting issues and develop practical solutions.
• Interest in improving processes and helping build stronger systems.
• Collaborative, team-first approach.
• CPA or EA designation is a plus, but not required.
