Zusammenfassung

Odoo, the open-source ERP leader, seeks a Senior Staff Accountant in Brisbane, CA for a hybrid role (4 days onsite, 1 day remote). You will own core accounting functions—AR, AP, reconciliations, commissions, month-end close, and budgeting—while strengthening internal controls and data accuracy.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and automate repetitive tasks using scripting and AI.

Qualifikationen

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years in accounting, FP&A, finance, revenue operations, business operations, or consulting.
• CPA or working towards CPA designation.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, revenue recognition, AR/AP processes.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets with complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Strong written and verbal communication; translate data for non-finance stakeholders.
• Self-directed; own projects end-to-end.
• Exposure to SQL and BI tools (Power BI/Looker) is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Execute full-cycle accounts receivable from quote-to-cash, invoicing, reconciliations, collections.
• Process vendor invoices with timely approvals and payments.
• Design, maintain, audit, and document commissions plans in spreadsheets and Odoo.
• Maintain clean data capture processes in Odoo for reliable reporting.
• Improve sales, operational, and accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and headcount reviews.
• Identify, document, and automate repetitive finance processes using scripting and AI tools.
• Implement cost-effective purchasing and pricing controls.
