Job summary

Boyum Barenscheer seeks an Audit Senior to lead engagements, mentor team members, and guide organizations through complex financial and business challenges. This role emphasizes professional growth and meaningful client service within a trusted Minnesota firm.

The ideal candidate brings a CPA (preferred) and strong communication skills, with at least four years in public accounting audit, ready to collaborate in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of public accounting audit experience.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit and assurance engagements.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and trusted guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement processes and client operations.
• Manage projects, timelines, and engagement resources.
• Provide updates and insights to firm leadership regarding engagement progress and key developments.
• Participate in training and staff/business development efforts.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and emerging business issues affecting clients.
