Job summary

Sarasota National Club in Venice, FL, is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller to join Troon’s hospitality-focused team. The role covers general accounting, month-end close, billing, and internal controls.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a lead role, strong GAAP knowledge, Excel skills, and multi-entity experience in a hospitality setting. Compensation is based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
• Experience reviewing reconciliations, financial statements, and close deliverables.
• Ability to manage workloads and deadlines across departments with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Handle general accounting functions including accounts payable and member billing.
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Provide quality control to ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Analyze performance and provide actionable accounting insights.
