Zusammenfassung

Yellow Jacket Drilling Services is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Arizona finance team. You will own the general ledger, manage accounts payable/receivable, and prepare timely financial statements in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience (construction industry preferred), strong Excel skills, and a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and process improvement, with clear opportunities for growth into leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience (Construction industry experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of internal controls and accounting compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate others and lead by example.
• Multi-state construction accounting experience is a plus.

• Manage the general ledger and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue, assets, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, system efficiencies, and business practices.
• Participate in strategic financial planning and special projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors to support successful audits and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to support sound business decisions.
